Christian World Service Finance and Compliance Coordinator

Ideally you will have a diploma level accountancy qualification, experience in accounting, book keeping, payroll and managing financial reserves, and be able to use accounting and other software to its fullest. A working knowledge of the Raisers Edge Database would be an advantage. Based in Christchurch, this is expected to become a 20hr per week position; however 5-10 additional hours per week may be involved initially during the handover and transition phases, so some flexibility will be needed.

Christian World Service is the justice, aid and development agency of New Zealand Churches.  It works to end poverty and injustice throughout the world by supporting communities working for better lives and livelihoods, humanitarian relief in times of disaster and campaigning against the causes of global poverty.

The job description with person specifications can be obtained from Christian World Service by emailing pauline.mckay@cws.org.nz

Applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 27 January 2012.
